OUR SIGNIFICANCE

Since its foundation, CheckPoint emerged as a response to a critical need in border areas: ensuring that maquiladora companies had reliable processes to protect the integrity of their cargo before crossing into the United States. In an environment where international logistics demands precision, compliance, and risk prevention, the company began developing detailed inspection procedures and strict protocols that quickly generated trust among its first clients. That initial commitment to offering a professional and verifiable service set the course for everything that would follow.

Over time, CheckPoint consolidated its reputation as a strategic ally of the export industry, evolving from an operational service to a comprehensive logistics protection platform. The incorporation of certified canine units, specialized personnel, inspection infrastructure, and technology such as TRACKPOINT strengthened its ability to provide control, transparency, and operational continuity. Today, its significance is reflected in its role within the supply chain of hundreds of companies that depend on precise inspections to maintain their productivity, reputation, and compliance at the border.

CANINE TRAINING AND HEALTH

The performance of canine olfaction as a specialized detection tool, through conditioning training processes and positive reinforcement, excluding coercive practices. Through controlled associations, the canine learns to identify an aroma, activates an established reward, which turns the search into a motivated task. The CheckPoint team interprets and transforms olfactory information into prevention, control, and security actions.

At CheckPoint, we have an Animal Health and Welfare Department, headed by a Veterinarian, responsible for the evaluation, supervision, and preventive medical care of our canine units. This approach allows us to prioritize the physical and behavioral welfare of each canine, ensuring optimal conditions for responsible, efficient, and high-quality operational performance.
